CAPS Medical (formerly Plasmed), a MEDX Xelerator portfolio company, won first place at a pitch competition at \u201cITTN<\/a>,\u201d Israel\u2019s Technology Transfer Organization\u2019s biennial conference, on October 22, 2018. Dr. Jacob Cohen, CAPS Medical\u2019s co-founder, presented their unique technology for selective cancer ablation using cold atmospheric plasma at ITTN\u2019s Life Sciences track. The technology was originally developed jointly by RAMBAM Healthcare Campus<\/a> and the plasma lab at the Technion<\/a>, Israel Institute of Technology.
